If this works as it is supposed to work then I’d consider dumping Photostream.

At Flickr, we know how important it is to capture the right moment. Our last few updates, including our brand new camera for Flickr for iPhone and iPod touch, have aimed to help you set up the perfect shot.

Today, we’re excited to announce our…

"See I’m a poet to some, a regular modern-day Shakespeare;
Jesus Christ, the King of these Latter-Day Saints here,
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me as;
As a monger of hate, satanist, scatter-brained atheist,
But that ain’t the case, see it’s a matter of taste;
We as a people decide if Shady’s as bad as they say he is,
Or is he the latter, a gateway to escape;
Media scapegoat; who they can be mad at today,
See it’s easy as cake, simple as whistling Dixie;
While I’m waving the pistol at sixty Christians against me,
Go to war with the Mormons, take a bath with the Catholics;
In holy water, no wonder they tried to hold me under longer,
I’m a motherfucking spiteful, delightful eyeful;
The new Ice Cube, motherfuckers hate to like you,
What did I do, I’m just a kid from the gutter;
Making this butter off these bloodsuckers,
Cause I’m a muthafucking Renegade.”

I’m starting to second guess my gold iPhone to be delivered. The white/silver matches my MBA. If it came in black/gold like my sunglasses I think I would like that better, but then I’d want a black/gold MBA also.

iOS 7 - Automatic Updating

With iOS 7 Apple finally introduced automatic updating to the operating system. With automatic updating you no longer have to check in the App Store to see if any of your apps installed on your device need to be updated.

To check if your iOS 7 device has automatic updated enabled you will need to navigate to the Settings app > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads > Updates > Flip the button until green is showing.

How to tell if an app has been updated? You will see a blue dot next to the app icon on your device if the application has been updated since the last time you have used it.

You can also open the App Store > Updates and it will show you any apps that have been updated recently. If you want to know what the update included then tap on “What’s New” and a drop-down menu will open and show you everything that was included in that update.

If you are worried about apps updating while using your cellular data navigate to the Settings app > iTunes & App Store > Use Cellular Data > Flip the switch until the button is showing white.

Overcast: coming soon – Marco.org

Everything looks good but then I read this:

I don’t plan to support streaming in 1.0, and may never add it. Overcast 1.0 will only play downloaded files. iOS 7’s background downloads, faster cellular networks, and larger-capacity phones have greatly reduced the need for streaming, and by not supporting it, I’m able to add some cool features and simplify a lot of the code and interface.

I never download any podcast to my device, I always stream. I currently use Downcast (http://bit.ly/1dGAGVN) as it is my favorite podcasts application and all 20 or so podcast I am subscribed to, when I go to listen I always tap the Stream Podcast button. I am not opposed to downloading podcast as long as they auto-delete when I am finished listening to an episode. When I first bought Downcast I was downloading everything and it filled up the storage on my device pretty quickly.

I will still purchase Overcast once it is released even though it will not replace Downcast, I am interested in watching to see what it becomes a year from now or a year from when it is launched.

I don’t even care that video podcast are not supported, personally do not see a purpose to video podcast! Who wants to sit and watch a bunch of people sitting around talking? Some video podcast, which are not really podcast but are available as podcast and are more like tutorials or video reviews are okay, but traditional podcast should be audio only anyway.
